Diploma in Basic Rural Technology (DBRT)
launched in two high schools under PLAN 100
New York NY - October 13, 2005: Lend-A-Hand India is pleased
to announce launch of Diploma in Basic Rural Technology (DBRT) in
two high schools under the Project Plan 100 (A Project to equip
20,000 girls and boys from 100 high schools in rural India with
job and life skills). This program will benefit nearly 375 students
from The New English School, Dhamari and Mallikarjun Vidyalaya,
Nhavara in the state of Maharashtra.
The local NGO Gramin Tantragyan Sanstha
will implement the program and Mr. G.R. Kadam will act as the project
coordinator. Lend-A-Hand India's non-profit partner Vigyan Ashram
will provide the technical support, supervision and will monitor
the progress.
